I'm excited to introduce a new Italian brand to HOH, AGL.

AGL is run by three sisters, they are the third-generation owners of the family business. The shoe world is quite male-dominated and it's so nice to see successful women in the industry.

Italian craftsmanship is a real art form and is something we're passionate about supporting. AGL is handmade in the Marche region of Italy where many of our brands are made. This is the oldest shoe-making region in the world.

About the brand - 

AGL (Attilio Giusti Leombruni) was founded in 1958 in Montegranaro, a small town in the Marche region of Italy. Piero Giusti was one of many shoe manufacturers in this area in the 50s, starting in his basement and then opening a small business. His son, Attilio, followed in his footsteps, taking charge of the company 20 years later. 

Like their father, Attilio's daughters also grew up in the industry. Known as the the Giusti sisters - Sara, Vera and Marianna spent lots of time playing in the factory as children and then helping the workers as teenagers.

The sisters took over the company around 10 years ago, now leading the marketing, sales and design. Made by women for women, AGL create chic, contemporary shoes that are still expertly crafted by Italian artisans in the Marche region.
