LEATHER CARE

MATTE LEATHER:
Waterproof the item with 'Waproo' stain and water protector. If you are going to use a different brand of waterproofer, please ensure you carefully read the back of the can. Some waterproofers are much stronger, and much harsher on leather shoes and therefore, not recommended. When needing a tidy, use shoe conditioner to moisturise the skin and remove dirt. If scuffed use a matched, water or waxed based colour polish.

SUEDE/NUBUCK LEATHER:
Spray the item with a 'Waproo' stain and water protector. If it needs a clean use a suede shampoo and a soft rubber suede brush.

PATENT LEATHER:
Use a patent leather dressing to moisturise and nourish the items patent coating.

PONY HAIR:

This leather is a luxury material. Spray it with 'Waproo' water and stain protector to ensure it is kept clean and holds it colouring. Please be aware that it will naturally malt a little but wearing items such a long jeans over pony hair footwear will allow it to bald where it is rubbing. Avoid pony hair shoes when driving as the constant friction will cause it to forcefully malt excessively.

LEATHER SOLES:
Leather soles tend to be part of a European luxury. Once the soles have moulded nicely to your feet we strongly recommend you get your shoes resoled by a cobbler.

PLEASE NOTE:
We advise you alternate between footwear. Never wear shoes more than two days consecutively, as the moisture in the shoes need to dry out naturally. This prolongs the life of your shoes also.
